Baby Jack & Big Baby

Jack and Baby are the very best of friends. When Mike and I went to California last summer we had only had Jackie for a week. So Jackie was being baby sat by my parents. When we dropped him off he had never even barked! And this is what we came home to; this fearless little puppy. He is such a bully. He and baby still play like this all day long. They are the very best of friends. In fact ever since he made friends with her he only likes big dogs now. He hates other little dogs with a firey passion! We have even tried to send him to puppy day care with other little dogs and he hates them too! I think he thinks that he's 70 lbs. Nope Jackie, sorry you are only a whopping 10 lbs! Sorry little buddy.

Indiana Jones

Mike took me to see the new Indiana Jones last night... I had never seen the first three all the way through until about my last week of pregnancy. We watched one a night my last week hoping every night that it would be the night I would go into labor. With no luck! But a lot of false alarms! Yikes! But I loved the new one! It was pretty good. It kinda has a weird little twist in it but what else can you expect from Spielberg and Lucas? You'll see what I mean... Go see it!

I'm so upset about David Archuleta!

I have a little boy crush on David Archuleta! I was so thrilled to see Brian Adams and even more excited to see George Michael!!! You should have seen Mike's face! He was like embarrassed for me! I was like a crazed Michael Jackson fan! I would have cried if I was there! I can not tell you how sad I am that Archuleta didn't win... But he will be the bomb no matter what! I do like David Cook as well but I am seriously obsessed with Archuleta! So if any one wants to come with my and Steph to see him call me and we'll go!

Trace's First Road Trip

It was so hot in St. George! Trace lived in only his diaper the whole time. He was happy though to see his grandparents! He is such a good baby. I think he got a heat rash on his cheeks it was sad. He was sweaty the whole time even more when we were in the car. I seriously need to know how people have babies down there, do they just never go outside or what?

My mom and Jack shared a birthday party and a cake! I can't believe he's already one! He loved his cake! It was so funny...


We made a trip down to St. George for a few days. It was my Mom and Jack's birthday on May 18th so we went down there to celebrate and also to say goodbye to Tito, so it was bitter sweet. Jack had so much fun he loves to visit down there. It was so hot there though! Oh man! I was so stressed out that my little baby and my little puppy were going to sweat to death! It was so good though to be able to see every one though. Next time we go down will probably be when it gets cooler.

My Very First Mother's Day!

I can not believe I'm a mom! It is truly the most happy I have ever been. To have my little guy finally be here was the best possible gift I could have asked for! It's amazing I highly recommend being a parent... It's been really hard trying to recover from delivering and taking care of a new born at the same time but it is so worth every second of lost sleep! ha ha ha. I was sad that my mother couldn't be here for mother's day but I really want my cat to live! We're planning a trip down to St. G this week end to celebrate my Mom and Jackie's birthdays so at least I can see her then. I can't believe that Jack is one already! They grow up so fast! *tear* We just have to check with Trace's Pediatrician to see what we should do if he's as allergic to Tito as his poor daddy is.

Pray for Tito

I am so sad to inform every one that my cat is very sick. While my mom was up here she found out that Tito was refusing to eat and passing away. So she had to make an emergency trip back down to St. George to try to revive him. So my dad took him to the vet and they did a bunch of tests and we just found out that he is having kidney problems due to old age but I guess the problem can be triggered by extreme stress like my parents leaving him for a couple of weeks. My parents had two options; they could do a dangerous operation that he may not survive or they can just wait and see if he pulls through. They have decided to wait and see because they said that he is getting stronger every day! I will never be the same if that cat passes on. I know he is 18 and that's really old... but I feel that he still has a couple good years left! So PLEASE pray for Tito.

We Have the Best Family Ever!

We have the best family ever! Our little baby boy Michael Trace Jr. was born on April 30th. Two days after the original due date and a week after the ultra sound due date. We were so worried that we would have to wait to be induced on May 2nd! I was so thrilled that he decided to come in April! The delivery was super hard! But SO worth it! I would do it a million times again to have him here.

Jack loves the baby! He is always sniffing him and has to be in the same room as Trace. But it's so funny at night when he cries Jack gets so upset and hides under the bed. Jack really needs his beauty rest!
