Tresor

When I was working at Fashion Place Nordstrom yesterday a cute young family of 5 walked up. When I asked what I could help them with the young mother asked me if she could smell and spray Tresor. I picked it up and sprayed it and handed it to her, she smelled it and smiled. Of course I started my whole selling pitch to her that I've used hundreds of times. She gave it to her little girl to smell then her little boy then her husband who was carrying their sweet four year old daughter on his shoulders. They all smelled it and smiled. I was thinking to myself as I was spouting sizes and prices that this was a little strange but I guess she was asking approval of the the fragrance.. ha ha. Anyway, I shut up and just listened to them and the mother asked if she could spray it on, I told her of course! And I noticed that they were talking about their Grandmother. It was the Grandmother's signature fragrance. The cute mom sprayed her arm, then both of her little girls. The oldest girl told me it smelled like her Grandma and that she had recently passed away. The family thanked me and the little four year old waved good bye. I don't know exactly why this little experience touched me the way it did.. I guess its true that fragrance is all about emotion. When I asked the Mother if she would like the small size she responded by telling me she'd never wear it, just smell it because it made her feel like her Mother was still with her in a way. I thought that was kinda special.
